The person you are interceding for may not be able to pray their way out of where they are right now. That is why God assigned you to stand in the gap for them.

Don't stop praying. Don't stop believing. Don't stop carrying them before the throne of grace. Your prayers may be the very lifeline God is using to strengthen, protect, and restore them.

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land..." — Ezekiel 22:30
