As a single mother, my children were not able to attend summer camp. We simply couldn’t afford it. When school was out, they stayed home alone while I worked—and that reality stayed with me.
Children should not have to miss out on their childhood because of finances.
Today, when most camps charge $200 or more, we have lowered our camp cost as low as possible so every child has the opportunity to attend. By sponsoring a child, you can make it possible for a child to experience summer camp who otherwise would not be able to go.
