🙌🏾 WHAT A POWERFUL HOMECOMING SUNDAY AT NEW HOPE!🙌🏾

We thank God for blessing us with a powerful Word from Dr. Jamaar Jones! God truly spoke to our hearts and reminded us of the work we are called to do beyond the walls of the church.

We were also honored to welcome Dr. Julius Hamlin, Superintendent of Sussex County Public Schools, and Sis. Marsha Gee as we officially began strengthening our partnership with Sussex County Public Schools. At New Hope, we believe ministry must extend beyond Sunday morning. If we are serious about renewing community, we must be willing to serve our schools, support our educators, encourage our families, and invest in our young people.

And we are already putting our faith into action! 💚💛

👏🏾 Shoutout to our Ushers Ministry for adopting the Sussex Central High School Marching Band!

👏🏾 Shoutout to Sis. Marian Goode for stepping forward to adopt an elementary school classroom!

👏🏾 And New Hope Baptist Church is adopting Sussex Central Middle School as we seek meaningful ways to encourage students, support faculty and staff, and be a consistent presence throughout the school year.

This is what it looks like when the church moves from ministry inside the building to mission in the community!

We are excited about what God is beginning, and this is only the start. New Hope is committed to being a church that our community can count on!
