Living Waters Christian Fellowship

Living Waters Christian Fellowship Our Faith is the set of beliefs by which our lives are guided.

Living Waters Christian Fellowship's mission is to introduce a person into personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide an environment such that the person grows into full discipleship with Him. The Christian Faith we espouse has been handed down to us through the witness of the generations of believers who have gone before us and the word of God we experience in the Holy Bible.

Good morning!
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41
Jesus would often steal away from the crowds to spend quiet time with His Father in prayer. He challenged His disciples to stay alert and to pray. He knew they would need the same strength He needed to endure the pain of the cross in their own lives.
Paul encouraged us to pray continuously because forces are always trying to pull us away from our walk with Jesus. We cannot consider prayer as an option. It is a necessity. Jesus loves you and so do I

Good morning!!
For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what they see? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Romans 8:24-25
Jesus has promised us many things. He promises He will be with us to the ends of the earth. Yet we can't see His presence. He promises a home in heaven. Yet we have no listing with a photo of what it will look like. He promises our sins are forgiven. Yet we continue to be harassed by our sinful nature. Let us use the time between when we hear the promises and when we see them fulfilled as an opportunity to grow our faith.

Good morning!
The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
It's hard not to be fixated on physical beauty when we are constantly bombarded by the images of perfect-looking images of men and women.
Isaiah 53:2 tells us that Jesus had no special beauty to attract peoples attention. Yet hymns about "fairest Lord Jesus" and "Beautiful Savior" have been written to remind us that real beauty can't necessarily be detected by human eyes. Because we have trusted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God already sees us shine as someone who loves Jesus wholeheartedly and without blemish. Jesus

Good morning!
There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
1 Corinthians 12:6
Sometimes life looks to complex, and we think there's no way we can do it. But complex and impossible are simple for Jesus. He mends, cuts, and peices broken things together. When we look back at what we have accomplished with His guidance and support we are amazed by the Carpenters handiwork in rhe construction of our life.

Good morning!!
Praise Him with triumphant sound; praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with strings and pipe! Praise Him with the sounding cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
Psalm 150: 3-6
The Psalms call us to explore endless ways to praise. We can sing, raise our arms in delight or kneel in silent contemplation for starters. Each of these can and will reflect our worship and praise to the Lord our Creator. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!! 🙌🙌✝️

Good morning!
He covers the sky with clouds; He supplies the earth with rain and makes the grass grow on the hills.
Psalm 147:8
The next time it rains and you are watching it run down the windows think about it in your relationship to Jesus. The rain washes & freshens the earth, Jesus washed away our sins. When the thunder booms, think of how we are to obey the sounds of Jesus' voice as He speaks to us through the scripture. The waiting period between the flash of lightning and the thunder, reminds us that Jesus' silence can never be interpreted as His absence.
He's there in the middle of the storm, ready to walk us through it. Jesus loves you

Good morning!!
Thomas answered Him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."
Can a believer in Jesus who has occasional doubts about matters of faith ever be effective in serving the Lord? Christ didn't rebuke Thomas but showed him the evidence he asked for.
Allow God to lead you into a deeper understanding. Renew your faith. You too can accomplish great things for Him.
Jesus loves you

Good morning!!
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.
Psalm 34:8
Jesus has an amazing way of leading us to unexpected places. He shows us His goodness over and over in the most thoughtful and creative ways. It might be anything from a new friendship to career shifts. Jesus is constantly looking for ways to show us that we can trust Him with our life. Today, may we let Him fill us up body, soul, and spirit.
Jesus loves you.

Good morning!!
Wait for the Lord: be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14
Jesus is with us even when we're spinning our wheels, going nowhere. He sees the challenges we are facing and He walks through them with us. He waits until we are ready to slow down and wait, then He will pierce the darkness and shed His light on the problem, so we can see.
Jesus loves you

Good morning!!
Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Luke 24:5
In Christ, we have the promise that death is not the final word.
The death of a relationship is painful. Someone I loved and trusted broke that trust and broke me. I've found that sometimes when you've been broken and put back together, you don't fit back into your old life. It's like putting new wine into an old wine skin. The way forward is unfamiliar. Then I realized, it was over. Finished gone. Instead if looking back I chose to move forward and rise and live with Christ.
Jesus loves you.

Good morning!!
The next day . . . the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. "Sir," they said, "we remember that while He was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day . . . " Matthew 27:62-64
These verses from Matthew tell all we know about Holy Saturday. Pilate posted the guards at the tomb at the request of the Pharisees.
We have the advantage of knowing the end of the story but they didn't. All they had was what they could see and a vague notion of what Jesus promised. Imagine what it would be like not to truly believe that the resurrection was coming-- to be unsure it was really an option for Jesus and therefore, for us.
