There is a pattern in NT letters where the author starts with truth about God and the gospel and then transitions to application. We tried to follow that pattern in our youth group this year. We started with key Christian doctrines. Tonight we are excited to start a new series where we will take common teen struggles in today's world and see how knowing truth can help when life feels heavy.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
Matthew 11:28-29

Women’s Bible Study: Beginning January 7th at 7:00 pm the Women’s Bible Study group will begin a new study by Melissa Spoelstra titled: Finding Hope in God Who Reigns Over Heaven and Earth—Angels. Melissa is a pastor’s wife, mother of four, and frequent women’s event speaker. She shares how there's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Angels is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth.
