Today we celebrate the blessings of freedom & give thanks for the men and women whose courage and sacrifice have helped preserve it. Most of all, we thank God for His faithfulness & for the eternal freedom we have through Jesus Christ.

🎆As we gather with family and friends, enjoy the fireworks, & celebrate our nation's birthday, may we also pause to pray for our country, our leaders, our military, our first responders, & our communities. May God continue to guide us, unite us, & help us be a light for Him each day.🎆

✨💛 VBS 2026: Glow for God! 💛✨

What an incredible way to wrap up an amazing week of Vacation Bible School! 🌟

Our final night focused on Matthew 5:14:
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden." 💡

The children learned that Jesus is our Light, shining through every dark moment in our lives. 🌎❤️ Just as He lights our path, we are called to let His love shine through us so we can be a light for others.

We celebrated with an evening full of glowing fun! 🌈✨ From an exciting game of dodgeball, colorful sidewalk chalk art, water balloon fun, neon bowling, and painting beautiful neon cross sun catchers, to delicious snacks and lots of laughter, it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable week! 🎳🎨🖍️🍿

One of the most special moments of the night was watching our children put their faith into action by raising $50 for our Chemo Bag Fund. 💛 What a beautiful reminder that even the smallest hands can make a big difference when they shine the love of Jesus.

Allyson Morriss would like to thank Winnie, Ellen, CMorriss, & Bee Cee Muhr for their support each night and helping setup/take down, redecorate nightly, man the snacks & drinks, participating in games, & keeping her focused all week! ☀️💜Thank you so much Kenny Bell for the lessons that we got to share with the kids each night! Thank you James for keeping the church nice & cool for our breaks from the heat!🔥 Ally says she simply couldn’t have done it without each of you!!!

Special thank you to Ally for stepping up & directing VBS this year! We appreciate and love you 🤟🏼🤍 What a wonderful job you did!

💦🦈 Wacky Water Wednesday was a SPLASH! 🦈💦

What an incredible third night of Vacation Bible School! Our Bible verse was Isaiah 42:2, reminding us that even when life feels like rough waters, Jesus is always with us—our Lifesaver who never lets us go. 🌊❤️

🐬The kids had an absolute blast enjoying Shark Water, yummy Rice Krispie treats, and red, white & blue popsicles before cooling off on the bounce house water slide! There were smiles, laughter, and lots of soaked clothes, but even more importantly, there were hearts learning about God's unfailing love.🐬

We are so thankful for another evening filled with fun, faith, and fellowship. Watching these children grow in their relationship with Jesus while making memories together has been such a blessing.🤍

One more night to go... and we can't wait to Glow for God! ✨💛
