This week at WCC we looked at Matthew 12:46-50, where Jesus asks, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" He wasn't dismissing His family. He was widening it.

Jesus isn't supplanting family. He's extending it.

What if the love and grace of Jesus began to change the way we see others? We wouldn't treat some relationships as sacred and others as so easy to throw away. We'd draw closer to people by drawing closer to God.

We were so blessed to be invited to be a part of Worship on the Hill at the beginning of this month! There is something so powerful about believers coming together from different churches and communities with one purpose: to glorify our Lord and Savior! It wasn't about a church name, a stage, or who was leading worship. It was all about JESUS! 🙌🏼

We are so thankful for the opportunity to worship alongside so many brothers and sisters in Christ and for everyone who helped make this special evening possible. Our prayer is that the seeds planted through this night will continue to grow and that God will receive all the glory!

IT’S PASTOR APPRECIATION DAY! ⛪️

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate three incredible men of God who faithfully lead, serve, and shepherd our church family!

We are so thankful for Pastor Jeremy, Pastor Josh, and our Worship Pastor Caleb and the hearts they have for the Lord and His people. Their dedication to sharing God’s Word, leading us in worship, encouraging others, and pointing people to Jesus does not go unnoticed.

Being a pastor is more than standing behind a pulpit on Sunday mornings. It’s the countless prayers, late-night phone calls, hospital visits, words of encouragement, hours of preparation, and moments spent walking alongside others through every season of life. Whether through preaching the Word, shepherding our congregation, or leading us into worship, each of these men plays such an important role in the life of our church. 🩵

We are beyond blessed to have pastors who love God, love people, and faithfully answer the calling He has placed on their lives!

📖 Jeremiah 3:15 NIV — “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”

A queen crossed a desert to hear Solomon, and a pagan city repented after one sermon from a runaway prophet, but the religious leaders standing right next to Jesus still wanted a sign. A little look back at a very special Sunday from August 🩵

We had the joy of celebrating a Baby Dedication and watching these families make the commitment to raise their little ones to know and love Jesus. What a blessing it is to have a church family that surrounds the next generation with prayer, encouragement, and love! 🙏🏼

We are so thankful for each of these precious little ones and their families, and we can’t wait to see all that God has in store for their lives! 🩵🙌🏼
