And that's a wrap. Bible School 2026 is officially in the books. The last night of Bible School has always been so sad for me. I think about my Bible School memories, those who taught me throughout the years and the lessons I have learned. I pray that these young children left this year with a deeper love and understanding of God's Word.
Our final lesson was about King David gathering materials to build a house for the Lord here on Earth which would house the Ark of the Covenant. David would not build this structure, but his son, Solomon, would later take on that responsibility.
Throughout the week, children learned daily verses of Psalm 23 until all verses were memorized. It was a blessing to hear all of them recite Psalm 23 in its entirety Friday evening.
Each night we averaged 21 children, with a total of 27 children attending and hearing God's Word. The seed has been planted.
Thank you to everyone who helped (teaching, crafts, and games), prepare daily meals, supplied snacks and drinks, and prayed. Thanks to Nate for operating the slip-and-slide.
