IN MEMORY OF JENNIFER EITEL

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of our beloved sister in Christ Jennifer Eitel. As many of you are aware, Jennifer has been battling various health issues over the last several months including cancer. After a rapid decline over the weekend, she went home to be with Jesus Tuesday night. We know that Jennifer is feeling restored in the loving arms of our Savior, but we are all grieving the loss of her physical presence and will miss the joy she brought to all of us. Jennifer Legg Eitel, 73, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at her home. She was born May 19, 1953 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Roy Everette Legg and Leah Gladys VanDyke Legg. On April 22, 1989 she was united in marriage to Danny Lee Eitel

REMEMBERING GARY BRINKMAN

Good afternoon Waverly community, I pray you are all safe and healthy today. It is with great sadness that I share with you the passing of our brother in Christ Gary Brinkman. Gary passed away peacefully on Sunday May 10th. We know Gary is in the loving arms of Jesus. Let us come along side Gary’s wife, Janet Brinkman who survives him along with their children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren as they all grieve the loss. We had a wonderful time at our “Picnic for All” this week! Around 40 people joined us to share a meal, enjoy the sunshine, and spend time together. It was a little breezy, but the beautiful hills and the sounds of children playing made it just perfect.

We’re so thankful for our church family and the opportunity to meet new friends and connect with one another. Moments like these are such a blessing!

REMEMBERING JOAN BATES
Dear Waverly Family,
Many of you have probably heard the sad news that our beloved sister Joan Bates passed away on March 31st. Joan has been a beloved member of our church family for many years along with her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jud Lilly and her daughter Anne Bates. Let us surround Karen, Jud and Anne with love and prayer during this time of adjustment. Thank you all for being such a wonderful church family.
