For the last 6 months, State Street Ministry has been blessed to have Joshua Schulhofer as an intern through the IGRC. We would like to congratulate him on his recent graduation from Illinois College and wish him well on his seminary journey that will soon begin. Thankfully, he will be with us through the summer and hopefully we’ll still see him around after that even.

One more congratulations is in order though… See picture of Josh delivering his first sermon! If you were at Waverly First on Sunday, June 7, you were blessed! A job well done! Don’t worry, he’ll preach at Grace and Centenary soon!

Pastor Erik is going rogue (kind of)!

Rachel (our Communications Director) and Pastor Kevin are on vacation, so I (Pastor Erik) am experimenting with posting unique things throughout the week...even though I didn't run it by them first.

Today, May 4th, is Star Wars Day ("May the Fourth" sounds like the Star Wars phrase "May the Force...be with you"), and I like Star Wars. So enjoy this Star Wars/church meme!
