Somewhere along the way, many of us learned how to stay comfortable instead of how to fully trust God. Pastor Rod said: “What comfort am I unwilling to leave?”

Oof. 🫣

That question forces us to get real with ourselves. It’s easy to say we trust God when life feels safe and predictable. But faith often means stepping into places where we don’t have all the answers yet. One part of the sermon that really challenged me was:

“What does your environment tell you about your relationship with Jesus?”

Are the things around us pulling us closer to Him… or making us comfortable enough to stop growing? The truth is, sometimes we stop when faith gets uncomfortable. Sometimes we stop in our own “Haran.” Not because God stopped leading…but because comfort convinced us to settle.

This week, maybe the challenge isn’t having everything figured out.
It’s simply being willing to move when God says move.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Chad Pence and his son Jude.

This morning they came out and cut down some poles that we've been wanting to tidy up in the parking lot.

This work will be done in stages, but it already made a huge difference and we are just so appreciative for what they did.

God is so Good, we appreciate all the hard work so many people give to make his house beautiful!
