ent 2026-
It’s Time for an American Renewal

Ezra :6
O my God, I am too ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God; for our iniquities have risen higher than our heads, and our guilt has grown up to the heavens.

“We the People”
“A nation of laws, not of men”.

In Scripture the number 40 usually represents cleansing. Either in years or days (Moses 40 years in the desert-Jesus 40 days in the wilderness).
In Christianity 40 days before Easter is called Lent. Lent is a time of spiritual renewal and reflection.
It is now imperative for America to reflect on where it came from and the direction it is going.
It’s important for America to understand how it arrived in the situation it is in now, who has been hurt, and how to correct itself.
Each individual and the nation as a whole needs to look deep inside to find what defines us Individually and as a people.
Maybe at this time in America, no matter what your spiritual connection is, we should look inside ourselves, unite and begin to heal our divisions.
Let us embrace each other under the Constitution and expel leaders who refuse to enforce it . A Politicians main duty is to follow and uphold the laws of this Country, which no one is above.
Let us become the best-version of ourselves by seeking to become again a living example in the world.
America needs to redefine its mission and open its heart to the areas that need to change in order for us to carry out our mission.
Let us work together to experience a world we imagine for ourselves and all of humanity.
Let us become inspired to live the principles of compassion and justice in ways that respect all peoples.
Let us learn how to best get involved in civic duties. Being a citizen carries responsibility.
Make all communities hungry for best practices and continuous growth and learning.
Give us courage when we are afraid, hope when we are discouraged, and clarity in times of in-decision.
Let us strengthen ourselves in uncertainty and find leaders to follow the wishes of ALL citizens and update and strengthen our Constitution and Laws which once held us together.

Oh Come Immanuel

This Carol speaks of Israel being captive in lonely exile, until Immanuel shall come to Israel.
Emmanuel is a name of Hebrew origin (Immanuel, עִמָּנוּאֵל) meaning "God is with us," combining (with) + anu (us) + el (God), famously appearing in the Bible as a prophecy for the Messiah in Isaiah and interpreted as referring to Jesus Christ in the New Testament, symbolizing divine presence and spiritual comfort across Jewish and Christian traditions.
As we at times feel in lowly exile, know that we’re not alone and “God is with us.”
Perhaps the greatest gift we can give ourselves and those around us is simply this: we can slow down. We can choose to notice the beauty of a moment.
The world will continue. Life will happen whether we’re running or walking.
But how we experience life- with tension or with grace, with frustration or with gratitude-
That’s entirely up to us.
Just remember, “God is with us.”

In the face of adversity, the Talmud offers a powerful reminder: focus on the present moment and take action. ACT WITH INTEGRITY, NOW. SHOW COMPASSION, NOW. WALK WITH HUMILITY, NOW. While the task may seem daunting, remember that you have the power to create positive change. You are not required to single-handedly transform the world, but you are also not free to stand idly by. -

Merry Christmas 2024!White Christmas or not-"Behold a virgin shall be with child and bring forth a Son and they shall call his name Emmanuel” , which interpreted as, “God is with us."Since Thanksgiving I’ve been posting daily Christmas Carols I play on the organ and posting a theme and message with each song. I hope it helped in assisting individuals with staying focused on what the Christmas season is all about. Theoretically that is what the season of Advent is for, but unfortunately most do not pay much attention to Advent (To some it’s “outdated “). It doesn’t matter if you interpret Scripture either Literally or Metaphorically,or if you belong or attend a Religious institution. The message is the same.God has commenced to the sowing of peace.Hopefully the Spirit of Christmas should change us to become something better than what we are. We are now the hands and feet of the sower. We are the carrier of the message. We are now called to live and spread the message of Christmas ALL year long.May the Peace of Christ which surpasses all understanding be in our hearts and minds as we continue our Spiritual journey and sow His Love which He has placed in our hearts.Merry Christmas!Rev. Christmas Eve Night

Silent Night:

"Silent Night" is about a calm and bright silent night, and the wonder of a tender and mild newborn child, words written in 1816 by a young priest in Austria, Joseph Mohr.
"Silent Night" continues to resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds because it speaks to the universal longing for peace and harmony. In a world often filled with noise and chaos, the carol offers a moment of quiet reflection, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.”

Merry Christmas 🎄

Oh Holy Night:Christmas Eve--Truly He taught us to love one another/ His law is love and His gospel is truth and peace/ Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother(anyone who is not like us) / And in His name, all oppression shall cease. No matter what your personal views are, it’s impossible to ignore the cries of the people around us. Everybody in America is hurting or angry for one reason or another, and nobody really knows what to do.This could be the Eve of a new beginning.I encourage you to take a second look at the people and things around you. I’ve heard this song hundreds of times before, but have just now understood the great meaning the lyrics hold. Ask God to help us see the people and things around you with new eyes. Perhaps you’ll be surprised by what God shows you. This holiday season, love your fellow man, and proclaim God’s power and glory.Rev. Kirk A. Rollo

What Child is this:

“What Child is This” carol centres around the Shepherds who visited during the Birth of Jesus. The questions posed in the lyrics reflect what the shepherds were possibly pondering to themselves when they encountered Jesus. The true purpose of Christmas, of God coming to the manger as a baby, growing up to experience LIFE as we know it so God could actually become part of us to show us His Love.
The meaningful lyrics gives the feeling that God himself has transformed into the form of human through this baby, and that the Almighty has arrived to show and teach humanity what God has created mankind be. It's a certain and clear sign, which the humans went on to declare with courage and ingenuity. The carol is fitting, as we marvel at the concept that God could actually come to us as a baby and in awe we ponder, “What child is this?
Have you ever really spent time to attempt to understand the full meaning of the Architect of the Universe and our Creator, actually came and comes as one of us to be with us?

The First Noel:The repeated word "Noel" in the Christmas song "The First Noel" is a metaphor for spreading the good news of Jesus' birth. Noël comes from the Latin word natalis, which means "birth". In the song, the repeated "Noel" is similar to singing "happy birthday".The First Noel describes the story from Luke 2, which explains how the Bethlehem shepherds, the first to hear of the Savior's birth from an angelic messenger, were also the first to declare the glorious news to the world. The first to declare the glorious news. When have you declared the glorious news? It doesn’t mean you have to go around verbally prophesying. You can declare the good news by who and what you were created to be. History and time tells us that our actions do tell more than just words. Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them. The more you are motivated by love, the more fearless and free your actions will be.So let us reflect on what is truly of value in life, what gives meaning to our lives, and set our priorities on the basis of that.Rev. Kirk A. Rollo

It came upon a midnight clear:

This song can be understood as a sudden unexpected moment.A moment of Hope appearing in the midst of darkness and turmoil.Like a Star shining brightly in the midst of darkness. An Angel chorus singing Gods message of Peace on earth, good will to men.But their songs falls on heedless humanity. Humanity so immersed with hatred, politics, wars, wealth imbalance that they can’t hear the Angels songs or Gods message of Peace.Sound familiar? For change to occur it starts out with one person at a time. The more we un-harden our hearts, the more of us begin to hear the Angels songs of Gods message of Peace.“For Lo! the days are hastening onby prophet seen oldwhen with the ever-circling yearsshall come the time foretoldwhen Peace shall over the earthits ancient splendors flingand the whole world sends back the songs which now the Angels sing”Rev. Does O Little Town of Bethlehem:O Little Town of Bethlehem can be a reminder that Christmas is about more than just joy and hope. But also about the importance of faith and charity. The song also reminds us that Jesus was born into poverty. We can miss the meaning of the Holy Families poverty if we get distracted by not just fancy manger scenes but also this materialistic and fast pace of life.Take time to question the reason why God chose Jesus to be born into poverty . This Christmas why not ask for the gift of Love and genuine concern for the poor.Remember the quote, “ What ever you do for the least of these, that you do to Me.”Rev. Kirk A. Rollo
