Great news for the Spencer Lake Christian Center Retreat Center accessibility:

Crews have finished the concrete aprons that now connect the Retreat Center directly to the Pedestrian Safety Tunnel!

No more gravel and dirt to deal with walkers and wheelchairs during our 50+ Retreat registration.

Our 50+ missions team leaves tonight for eight days of ministry in Moldova with missionaries Troy and Heidi Darrin. Average age of the team is 65.6 years old. Pray we are anointed of the Holy Spirit and that God moves both in the people of Moldova and in us.

As per a previous post, we are delighted that Rev. Kevin Taylor, Lead Pastor of Journey Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has been elected the new WNMD Network Superintendent.

"The Mantle is Passed"

In a very moving ceremony, and in the attached video, outgoing Network Superintendent John Davis placed this very meaningful mantle on Rev. Taylor (in the Bible, Elijah’s mantle/cloak symbolized the transference of prophetic authority, divine calling, and spiritual power from one generation to the next. When Elijah cast his garment over Elisha, it designated him as his successor).

For our Network, this particular mantle has great significance in that it is the same mantle which former Network Superintendent Larry Liebe placed on his successor, John Davis, eight years ago!

Prayers for God’s blessings on Kevin and his wife Joelene H Taylor were offered by all of the Network Presbyters.

It was wonderful to have three of our former Network Superintendents in attendance: Larry Liebe, Joel Pavia and Arden Adamson.
