“When I was young, my dad got really sick, so sick that doctors said there was nothing we could do. Around that time, he had a vision of two men who would help him. One day, he met two missionaries and recognized them. He decided to listen, asked for a priesthood blessing, and was healed.
“That changed everything. Six months later, my family joined the Church.
“I grew up with that story. Faith wasn’t just something we talked about, but had actually seen.
“But life was still hard. My family was really poor, and I remember feeling like I didn’t know how I would ever get out of that situation. I had a vision for my life, but I couldn’t see the path.
“So I focused on what I could control. I tried to be obedient and stay close to God. Little by little, things started to fall into place.
“I never formally learned English, I just picked it up from missionaries. One day I realized I could understand it, and it felt like a miracle. That opened doors for me. I joined , served a mission, and kept moving forward, even when things felt impossible. God kept placing the right people in my life at the right time—people who helped me in ways I couldn’t have planned.
“I’m studying business management. I want to use it to help others, especially people who feel stuck like I did.
“I’ve learned you don’t have to see the whole path. You just have to take the next step, have faith, and trust that you’re being led somewhere for a reason.”—Dani
