The butterflies have started to come out of their chrysalises!! We are currently at 10 butterflies in our net enclosure. We were watching this morning as one or two of them emerged! It is hard to believe that the whole process (that we get to observe) takes roughly a month. 🐛🦋

I am a little sad to post that this is our last bulletin board of the school year! I have so loved getting to know each of these kids and I can not wait to see all of the wonderful ways that God will work through these young people as they continue to grow! I wish them all the best in kindergarten next year!

We celebrated Earth Day yesterday out in the beautiful sunshine observing signs of Spring! We found lots of things from flowers and trees blooming to people mowing their lawn. We were very thankful to be able to get out and enjoy Earth Day this way!

We also observed our caterpillars. They have been very active lately! They have chewed holes in the paper and started trying to escape their containers! And then today we came in to school and they are starting to form their chrysalises! We have really enjoyed watching them

Our caterpillars have finally arrived!!! Now we have to "patiently" wait for the metamorphosis process to complete to see our beautiful butterflies emerge.

I went super simple with the rest of the bulletin board this month because our butterflies were so very colorful! It has been so much fun doing these bulletin boards over the last few months. From our seeds of kindness that grew into beautiful flowers and now to our caterpillars that have been transformed into beautiful butterflies, I have loved showing the kids how each of these things are connected to our Jesus Time stories.

We are reminded of Jesus' glorious transformation on the very first Easter when we look at the caterpillars from last month's bulletin board that have now transformed into beautiful butterflies. I can not wait to post some pictures of our finished April bulletin board with these colorful butterflies! May God watch over us all until our own Heavenly transformation is also complete!

Almost all of our seeds of kindness have bloomed into beautiful flowers! We only have a few more to go before they are fully bloomed. This bulletin board has been a fun process, but we aren't finished with it yet! I think we may have a few changes and additions coming up with the Easter season.
