EPISCOPAL CHURCH BISHOP KARA WAGNER SHERER VISITS THE HABITAT HOUSE BUILD. The Episcopal Diocese of Rochester and the Episcopal Churches of Schuyler County have been supporters of Habitat for Humanity in Schuyler County since 2006. Retired priest and former Rector of the Schuyler County churches, Michael Hartney, serves as Habitat’s Treasurer. Over the past twenty years, the Episcopal Churches of Schuyler County have been supportive financially and have sponsored Diocesan District (now Convocation) grants. During her Visitation to Schuyler County’s churches the weekend of February 28 / March 1, Bishop Kara stopped by to see the progress on the current build in the Village of Montour Falls.
