In our Diocesan Cycle of Prayer we pray today for the leadership and congregation of All Saints in Skowhegan. We pray also for the victims of human trafficking and all those committed to combatting it, and for students who are graduating.

The Waterville Public Library is seeking donations for our upcoming Book Sale! We can accept 1-2 boxes of gently used books at any time during our open hours.

We accept: Gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs/Blu-rays, and CDs. We especially welcome any sci-fi, fantasy, or horror fiction.

Please no: Textbooks, encyclopedias, or magazines. We cannot accept any moldy/musty, dirty, or stained items.

The book sale will run from Saturday, July 11 to Monday, July 27, 2026. The sale opens to the general public at 10am on 7/11, but you can get into the pre-sale at 9:00 am with a $20 donation. This fee does not cover the cost of books purchased.

As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.

The three-day gathering, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sept. 3-5, will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.
