Paul Mwesigwa will be speaking with our kids on 5/20 for their large group time about international missions!

We are excited to share with you that our Ugandan Director, Paul Mwesigwa, will be in Maine this month! While visiting, he will have the opportunity to share updates about the work in Uganda.

Paul will speak at Machias Valley Baptist Church (Sunday May 17th) Emmanuel Bible Baptist Church (Sunday evening, May 17th) and Kennebec Valley Baptist Church (Children's Awana Night, May 20th).

The results are in, and we are absolutely blown away by what God has done through our Awana Verse-a-Thon!

Our clubbers worked incredibly hard and recited a total of 648 Bible verses. Because of your overwhelming generosity and support for these kids, we raised a grand total of $5850.

This means that Kennebec Valley Baptist Church has fully funded and sponsored 9 entire public schools in Africa through the Africa Schools Project. Nine schools will now be equipped with biblical discipleship materials and training to share the Gospel with their students.

Thank you to every clubber who memorized Scripture, every volunteer who listened to verses, and every person who donated or prayed for this event. You have made a massive impact both locally and globally.

Thanks for all who came tonight!

I got so caught up in the popcorn production industry I forgot to announce the final totals for the Verse a Thon!

We've got some exciting changes in preparation for next year!
