Blessed Hope family and friends,
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share news of the unexpected death of Rev. Josh Alves, pastor of the Bangor Advent Christian Church. Over the past week, Pastor Josh became ill and died as a result of his illness. Please uphold his wife, Amy, and their children, Lilly, Haley, Gabe, and Emma, as well as the Bangor Church family, in your prayers.

Pastor Josh served with me for five years at Oak Hill Bible Church, and was devoted to His Savior and the proclamation of the gospel. Josh was a dear friend to many. His kindness, grace, and infectious love for Christ have touched many lives for the kingdom of God.

In this season of shock, deep sadness, and incredible sorrow, we trust in the Sovereignty and Goodness of our God.

With deepest thanks for your support of the Alves' family,
Pastor Glenn
