Grace Lutheran Church, Watertown, S.D. Grace Lutheran Church is an ELCA Lutheran congregation located at 202 2nd Street SE in Watertown, S.D. Grace is rich in history being 140 years old.

Grace Lutheran Church was formed in September of 1883 by just a few members. They met in a room above the Merchants Bank in Watertown and were called First Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Church, later to be called what we are now, Grace Lutheran Church. They spoke mostly Norwegian back then and eventually changed to English. Back in 1935 we aired on the radio for the first time and are still br

oadcasting each Sunday. Always being an innovative congregation, we try to keep that tradition alive today. Join us at Grace to innovate ways to bring Christ to the lives of many.

Reminder- our Vacation Bible School starts Monday 7-20. We are combining with the 1st United Methodist and Florence Lutheran Parish this year. VBS will be held at the Methodist Church at 4 2nd Ave SE- just a couple blocks from Grace. The meal begins at 5:15 and we kick off at 6:00pm.
