4. When you think about God knowing you completely, what are some of the thoughts that come up?

Psalm 139:1-6
1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

Below is a portion of an announcement that was made last week:

"After a prayerful process and a meaningful conversation with District President Mark Harris, we realized that God may have already placed the perfect candidate right among us. We were thrilled when Pastor Mark expressed his interest, and we have spent the last six months watching him flourish in his interim role.

Our Governing Board has been grateful to witness his biblical teaching and preaching with scriptural depth. He has met every challenge with grace, consistently relying on God's word to guide the church he loves so dearly by being a shepherd to the sheep. We truly feel blessed and are confident that his unique gifts are exactly what our church needs for the future.

On Thursday, our executive board met and unanimously agreed to extend the call to Pastor Mark to be our new senior pastor. We are overjoyed to share that he has humbly and graciously accepted! Brothers and sisters, it is a joy to announce our new Senior Pastor, Pastor Mark Sina."

River Valley Alliance presents: Hero Hotline VBS August 3rd-7th, 9am - Noon! This year your children will enjoy a FREE interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they are called together to serve God. They will become Heroes and discover that answering God’s call together means striving for the things that bring peace and the things that build each other up! After a high-energy Opening Assembly time, the Heroes make their way to the Bible Story Station. Interactive Bible lessons reveal Hotline Tips to equip your Heroes for an active life with God.

Your Heroes will also discover our Hotline Verse (Bible memory verse), which will remain with them in their faith long after VBS. The students will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, playing games at the Rec Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station. Along the way, the Heroes will hear about our mission project as they respond to a call for action!

👕Each child will receive a shirt as well as a Hero backpack.🎒
