When I come to a place of decision I often pray for God's direction. A direct answer is not always there. I have to constantly look for the answer from people and signs around me. Knowing God will place that sign or person to help with the decision that is pleasing to him. That is the faith I place in God, knowing it may come when I least expect it. God has put enough in this word to keep the faith in him. He has left enough out to make it impossible to live by our own reason alone. Faith is a confidence in what we hope for an answer but do no see. Without faith it is impossible to please God and recieve his promised reward.

In seasons of uncertainty, God is not distant; He is our steady guide. When we moved to Guadalajara, Mexico for three years, we arrived with just four suitcases and only a few words of Spanish. It felt overwhelming, yet day by day, God provided what we needed and sustained our spirits. He opened doors, taught us, and led us forward when we could not see the path.

Then, upon moving back to comfortable Wisconsin, life didn't magically get easier. We still rely on his sustaining grace each day. In every space, He remains the same. We are not alone. Trust His provision, follow His lead, and watch Him carry you through always.

I was challenged with a question about Jesus in the bible. How can you
believe in these Jesus stories 2000 years old?
Prior to 1410 when Gutenberg invented the printing press, documents were
hand written. Manuscripts were rare and few people could read.
Archaeology supports the credibility of Luke, John, Mark and other authors.
The Dead Sea Scrolls discovery provides credible evidence. John 5:1-15
records Jesus healing a man by the Pool of Bethesda. John provides
details of the pool's construction. Not long ago the area was excavated.
Forty feet below ground, walkways, colonnade, porches were exactly as
John described. Luke's accuracy authored the book of Acts that covers
one quarter of the New Testament. Historians state his Greek writing quality
is accurate and facts have been verified.
The idea Jesus never really died on the cross can be found in the Koran.
Muslims contend Jesus fled to India. To this day there's a shrine that marks
his supposed burial place. There will always be non-believers that
challenge our faith in Jesus. My belief is that Jesus lived and died for our
sins so we could join him one day in Heaven. I pray that you too will believe
and join me in this faith.
