Our church family has lost a great soul. Sis. Brenda Dorris went to be with the Lord late last night. Sis. Brenda wasn’t just someone who attended our services, she was someone who lived her faith in the most beautiful, practical ways. She loved “her Jesus” with her whole heart.
If you knew her, you knew her kindness wasn’t something she turned on and off. It was who she was. She also was a comedian at heart. She could make you laugh during some of your hardest times.
Brenda had a gift for helping others. Not for recognition, not for applause but because her heart was shaped by compassion. She noticed needs quietly, stepped in gently, and made people feel cared for in moments when they needed it most.
She worshiped with sincerity, and loved with intention. She also holds the record for the loudest claps and amens! 🙂 Her life was a testimony not loud, not showy, but steady and faithful. We will miss her.
Please keep Bro. Paul, Valerie, Michael, her grandchildren and the rest of her family in your prayers. May God surround them with comfort, strength, and peace that only He can provide.
God bless you and keep you.
