We are a small parish with a long and rich Lutheran heritage located in rural Watertown, MN. St Peter Lutheran Church is affiliated with LCMS.

We are anchored in Christ and celebrated 155 years in 2022.

Join us for our 18th annual German Maifest Celebration on May 17, from 10 am – 3 pm. The event kicks off with a German-inspired worship service that starts at 10:00 am. Enjoy our famous St. Peter-made schnitzel dinners, Kramarczuk brats, hot pretzels and St. Peter-made apfelstrudel.

There will be live entertainment, a silent auction, Maifest Markt, Maibaum Raising Ceremony, kids activities, including a bounce house, and much more!

A couple weeks ago after church we had the assembly line ready to go for everyone to help fill the Easter bags for Project Easter Joy. We put together:
-100 children's bags for the Delano Helping Hands Food Shelf
-136 children's bags and 24 shut-in bags for the Watertown Gather & Grow food shelf

Following the Palm Sunday service, we are having a French Toast & sausage breakfast hosted by St. Peter's youth. Breakfast is a free-will donation, with proceeds supporting Project Easter Joy. Project Easter Joy provides Easter baskets filled with goodies for the Watertown Food Shelf, and the Delano Food Shelf and then distributes them to families in the area.

On December 7th St. Peter hosted Nikolausabend again to help local families in need. We hosted a German buffet along with Christmas treats, crafts, games and a goodie bag for the kids. In exchange, we asked for a new toy or monetary gift to help make Christmas a little better.

Fellowship was lively and we were able to collect 109 gifts and $1,775. We purchased gift cards with the money and donated it all to local families that needed help at Gather and Grow Food Shelf & Connection Center in Watertown, Love Inc in Delano, and WeCAN - Western Communities Action Network in Mound.
