“A Little Child Will Lead Us,” Our Vision is to serve the community as we support parents in their joyful and challenging pursuit of raising their children. We do so by affording opportunities for families to play, learn and grow together in a Child Centered Faith Community of l

oving adults. Most of the adults on our Advisory Team are people who love children, and want to enrich their lives; including educators, parents and students and Grandparents. We understand firsthand how difficult it is to raise children. Our goal is to lighten the load of parental responsibility, by caring for the needs of the young family. OUR CURRENT Ministries:
Free Childcare Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Children must be picked up by 6 pm. Nutritious meals and snacks served. Outdoor playground, indoor playroom, trampoline, large arts and crafts room, quiet room for rest and reading/quiet play, staffed nursery/preschool room. Large fellowship hall to eat meals and play games, stage for plays/music/ dramas. NO RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION GIVEN. We model the Golden Rule. PARENTS/KIDS NIGHTS out the First Saturday of the Month from October through May from 4:00- 7:00 pm. For Kids ten and younger/ Dinner Snacks are provided. Games, movies, seasonal Crafts and activities. Diapers/Formula/Special Diet Foods must be provided by the Parents. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

Children will have their temperatures taken upon arrival. Good hand hygiene and social distancing will be modeled by staff and expected of children. Children will never be in groups of more than ten and will stay in their small groups throughout the evening. All Staff Members/Volunteers have Safe Sanctuary/Background Clearances. NO child may walk home alone or be picked up by an unauthorized person. NO child may carry their own or siblings medicine. Emergency Contact Information/Parental Permission Sheet, and Health Information, Student Information Sheet - including Food Allergies/Medical/Behavioral Concerns, MUST BE ON FILE. All children are welcome, no matter their own struggles and/or disabilities.

This Past Tuesday ALCWLU Celebrated Saint Patty Day. The kids put on a lovely play about a Bakers having bad luck not making enough cookies, played a game about helping a baker get home on a rainy day, and ate a lovely meal! The Winter Wonderland Mural made by the kids in our Sunday School and A Little Child Will Lead Us. It was done with the help of Karen Parks and features members of our congregation. A Little Child Will Lead Us is offering free childcare this Summer beginning Tuesday, July 11th, from 4:00-6:00 pm. Children enjoy, arts and crafts, outdoor recreation, water games, reading, painting a mural, dinner and snacks. Ages 12 and under. A Little Child Will Lead Us Free Childcare Ministry is pleased to announce that we are a recipents of the annual Stewart's Shops Holiday Match Program. The Stewart's Holiday Match Program collects contributions from their customers and dedicated shop Partners who contribute generously so that contributions can be used for children under 18 years of age in their market area. We are profoundly grateful for this generous contribution to our free childcare ministry in Watertown, New Yor, where children receive nuitrious meals and snacks, tutoring from Licensed New York State educators, and enjoy recreation, arts and crafts, literature and age appropriate activities.
