Today, we give thanks for the hard work, dedication, and heart that each of you brings to your everyday work—whether in an office, at home, in the community, or wherever your calling takes you.

Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

May today be a restful time of refreshment, renewal, and joyful connection with family and friends. We pray that God blesses the work of your hands and gives you deep rest today.

In September, our young learners will explore Choosing Courage over Fear. Through the stories of David and Goliath, Esther Risking Her Life for Her People, and Joshua and the Fall of Jericho, kids will learn that going "all in" means trusting God even when the odds seem impossible.

Our monthly focus verse will be Joshua 1:9 (NIV) "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

It’s finally here! The Messy Carnival is TONIGHT, September 2nd, at 5:30 PM in Fellowship Hall!

Get ready for an evening packed with fun as we explore the story of Joshua! We’ll have incredible mess-making activities, games, and an awesome fair food menu featuring classic treats like cotton candy and shaved ice!

Bring your family, invite a neighbor, and wear comfortable clothes! We can’t wait to see you there!

St. Paul UCC is looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities Coordinator to help care for our church buildings and grounds. Part-time with room to grow into full-time.

You would handle custodial work along with coordinating maintenance, setup, and general care of our facilities, working with staff, volunteers and the Building and Grounds Committee. General cleaning/maintenance experience preferred. Schedule is mainly weekdays, with occasional Sundays and events.

Approximately 20 - 29 hours per week, paying $20 - $25 per hour.

Interested candidates with A/V or tech experience may also be considered for our part-time Tech Coordinator role as an add-on.

As the seasons begin to shift, we are reminded that God’s faithful presence remains steady through every change.

"The Lord’s loyal love never ends; his mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness!" — Lamentations 3:22-23 (CEB)

A new month offers a quiet invitation to reset. No matter what the past season held—whether full of joy, busyness, or unexpected challenges—God meets us today with fresh grace and unconditional love. As we step into September, take a breath and rest in the promise that you don't have to carry it all alone. Each new day is a fresh start wrapped in mercy.

A Prayer for September...
Loving God, thank you for bringing us into this new month. Refresh our hearts, guide our steps, and help us see your goodness in the ordinary moments of each day. Amen.

🌀 Youth Group Outing to the Museum of Illusions (Grades 6th–12th)

Get ready to mind your eyes! We’re heading to the Museum of Illusions at the STL Foundry on Sunday, September 20th, right after the confirmation meeting.

Where: Museum of Illusions (STL Foundry)

When: Sunday, September 20th (Leaving between 11:00 AM & 11:30 AM)

Who: Open to ALL youth in 6th–12th grade

Cost: $30 per person

⏰ RSVP Deadline: Monday, September 7th
