In today's chapel lesson this morning, we were reminded that when life's troubles or worries get in the way, it is more difficult to focus or keep God as #1 in our lives. Mr. Busch took a tennis ball labeled "GOD" on it and dropped it from a ladder. The student volunteer was able to easily grab the tennis ball with this as the only focus. When Mr. Busch added multiple tennis balls labeled with other troubles, it proved to be impossible to hold sight of the "GOD" tennis ball. We learned the importance of putting God first, so that life's troubles do not weigh us down.

This years school theme is "Pursue God First." "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)
