Met with doctor today and saw new X-rays. Wow, he put in a lot more hardware than the first doctor. He took out all the staples. He didn’t clear me to walk on it but did clear me to “toe touch” with that foot to move from bed to chair or commode. I see him again in 2 weeks to Re access. Have to stay put for now. 😢

All settled into the Commons. I’m down one level in room 31. I’m having PT so can never be sure of where I’ll be. Also they want me to go to the caffertia for meals so you just have to ask where I am. I hope this will be as short as possible but I have to get stronger.

They came and got me for surgery after all Thursday morning! The heart doctor cleared me after all after talking with the surgeon. It was 9 hours before I was back in my room. My hip hurts a lot but I’m getting pain meds. I’ll be here till the end of the week then in rehab for 6-8 weeks. Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. 💕

Got some bad news today. After breaking my leg in my fall last March I found out today the pin at the top in the hip has broke and of the two down by my knee, one of those is bent. What on earth happened I have no idea. It all just started hurting a few days ago and then I couldn’t stand on my leg and now I can hardly move it or lift it up off the floor! That surgery was done at Strong Hospital when I was still up there. My ortho doctor in Auburn is doing blood work to make sure there is no infection and then he will operate to correct it all. What next! I take two steps forward and 10 backward.
