The 2025-2026 Annual Program Reports have been distributed to church mailboxes. Extra copies are available outside the office.
There will be a brief business meeting before worship this Sunday, June 7, at 10:10 to accept the Annual Reports.

Fellowship hour hosts this week are Susan and Dwayne Price. They will be serving root beer floats! Please stay after worship for our fellowship time in the chapel. Be sure to check the sign-up board in the hallway. You can sign up to serve the fellowship hour after worship this summer. Please consider hosting a time of fellowship so that we may stay connected with each other during the summer months.

Speaker: Rev. Jackie Saxon, Mid-ABC Executive Minister
Jackie will share about her journey and pilgrimage known as Carino de Santiago in Spain and the upcoming mission trip to Rainbow Acres.
Registration forms are on the bulletin board in the hallway. Registrations and questions may be directed to Linda Hammar.

“Let’s Move A Little Closer” is a plea to everyone in our congregation to move to the center section and a little closer to the front. If you have ever viewed one of our recorded services, you know that everyone who sits in the back rows and side sections of the sanctuary are not seen and the sanctuary looks very empty. This matters if we want others to see and visit a vibrant, close knit community of faith. Please consider this and make a move toward togetherness.

American Baptist Women's Ministries.

HomeLab is a new initiative by Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity designed to help people build the skills and confidence to care for their homes. Through hands-on classes focused on practical home maintenance and prevention, participants can learn how to identify and address issues early — supporting long-term housing stability and successful homeownership.
Not only can you attend classes at HomeLab, but the space is also available to rent for meetings, workshops, trainings, and small gatherings. HomeLab is a welcoming place built for learning, connection, and community.

Introducing Iowa’s New SUN Bucks Program! Starting in early June 2026, eligible Iowa school-age children will receive $120 in grocery benefits per child to support healthy eating when school’s out.
There are two ways children can qualify for SUN Bucks: automatic eligibility or with an application. Most eligible families won’t need to file a SUN Bucks application. But if you do, applications open in early June.

A HUGE thank you to the 25 families who brought food and helped serve at the May Community Meal Potluck last night! Many people said the food was SO GOOD! Thank you to our helpers who make each community meal a meaningful time of fellowship!
