✨ Ramadan – the Month of the Qur’an ✨

In this blessed month, when hearts find peace and souls draw closer to Almighty Allah, we had the special honor at our IC Al Noor to attend a Qur’an competition. 📖

Our children showed their love for the Book of Allah through learning and memorizing Qur’anic verses. Every recited ayah was a reminder of the beauty of the Qur’an and the power of its words that guide to the truth.

This competition was not just about winning, but an opportunity to motivate one another, strengthen our bonds, and inspire a new generation to live with the Qur’an—not only in Ramadan, but throughout the entire year.

We ask Allah to reward all our participants, their teachers, and their parents, to grant them steadfastness, and to make the Qur’an a light in their lives. 🤲

We are proud of every effort and every success.

“O our Lord, make the Qur’an the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, the remover of our sadness, and the reliever of our worries.” (Allahumma Ameen)

✨️Ramazan – mjesec Qur’ana✨

U ovom blagoslovljenom mjesecu, kada se srca smiruju i duše približavaju Uzvišenom Allahu, imali smo posebnu čast u nasem IC "Al Noor" prisustvovati takmičenju iz Qur’ana.

Naša djeca su pokazala ljubav prema Allahovoj Knjizi kroz učenje i memorisanje Qur'anskih ajeta. Svaki proučeni ajet je bio podsjetnik na ljepotu Qur’ana i snagu Allahove riječi koje vode ka istini.

Ovo takmičenje nije bilo samo nadmetanje, već prilika da motivisemo jedni druge, da ojačamo naše veze i da podstaknemo novu generaciju da živi s Kur’anom – ne samo u Ramazanu, već tokom cijele godine.

Molimo Allaha Uzvisenog da nagradi sve nase ucesnike, njihove učitelje i roditelje, da im podari ustrajnost i da Kur’an učini svjetlom njihovih života. 🤲

Ponosni smo na svaki trud i svaki uspjeh.
"Gospodaru nas učini Qur'an proljećem srca nasih svjetlom grupi nasih, razbistrenjem tuge i otklanjanje briga nasih" (Allahumma amin).

Dear brothers and sisters,
As we come to the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, we thank Allah for every opportunity to do good that He has granted us. We ask Him to accept our fasting, prayers, supplications, and all our good deeds, and to make us among those who have attained His forgiveness and mercy.
We sincerely pray that Allah rewards all the families who generously prepared iftars throughout Ramadan and brought joy to our community, as well as all our donors and supporters who contributed selflessly and helped strengthen our congregation in any way.
May Allah abundantly reward you all, accept your deeds, and grant you goodness in this life and the next.
We ask Him to keep us steadfast on the path of righteousness even after Ramadan.

Na samom kraju mubarek mjeseca Ramazana, zahvaljujemo Allahu na svakoj prilici za dobro koje nam je podario. Molimo Ga da primi naš post, namaz, dove i sva dobra djela, te da nas učini od onih koji su zaslužili Njegov oprost i milost.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, by the mercy of Allah and the dedication of our growing community, our mosque has become a vibrant center for prayer, learning, and service. Every week, more brothers and sisters join us in worship—filling our prayer halls and classrooms. This growth is a blessing, but it also brings new responsibilities.

The Need

Our current parking lot can no longer meet the needs of Friday prayers, Eid gatherings, and community events. Municipal ( City ) requirements now press us to expand capacity to ensure safety, accessibility, and compliance. To continue serving our community without interruption, we must double our parking capacity by adding approximately 53 new spaces.

The Goal

To complete this critical expansion, we must raise $120,000. This investment will:

Meet municipal (city) codes and prevent potential restrictions on our services.

Make attending the mosque easier and safer for families, elders, and visitors.

Support the continued growth of our programs and worship services.

☀️*Al-Noor Summer School* 🕌
Dear community, we extend a warm invitation to parents of children aged 6 and above to register them for our summer Islamic school program. The program will run from June 16th to July 17th, four days a week (Monday to Thursday), for 3-4 hours daily. Enrollment is ongoing.

Asalam aleikum. Eid Al-Adha is Friday June 6th.

9:00 AM is Eid Salah. When you arrive if the parking is full please park on the grass field left of the driveway.

There will still be a Friday Jummah Khutbah at the normal time.

The following day on Sat. June 7th we will have a community Eid picnic. See flyer for details.

Asalam aleikum dear community, Eid ul Fitr will be Sunday March 30th inshAllah. Takbeerat will start at 8:45 AM and Eid Salah will be at 9:00 AM. We will have a potluck breakfast to follow the khutbah inshaAllah.
When the parking is full please park on the grass field to the left in a single file. May the Exalted Allah accept our fasting and all our acts of worship.

Assalamu alaykum dear community, respected brothers and sisters, we announce that the blessed month of Ramadan will begin on Friday with the evening (Magrib) time. Therefore, we will hold a speech after Magrib prayer in preparation for Ramadan, and Imam will present the plan of activities during this blessed month. We invite you to come together with your families and honor this gathering with your presence to welcome the blessed month. After Isha prayer, the first tarawih prayer will be performed inshaAllah. I ask the Almighty Lord of the worlds to make this Ramadan the best one yet for all of us, to make our fasting easy, and our worship in a way that will please Him. Ramadan Mubarak!
