Al-Noor Islamic Community Center of Waterloo-Cedar Falls Islamic Center "Al-Noor" Waterloo-Cedar Falls was established in 1986 to serve the Islamic community and its neighbors in the Cedar Valley area. Waterloo Iowa.

The Waterloo-Cedar falls Islamic Community Center-Masjid Al-Noor was established over thirty five years ago to serve a small Islamic community in the Cedar Valley area. The number of Muslim families and individuals has grown dramatically during the past 15-20 years through the influx of refugees from Bosnia. Our community is made up of students, businessmen, professors, doctors and engineers. Empl

oyers include, university of Northern Iowa, John Deere Co., Rockwell Collins, local and state government institutions. The first of the Islamic Center was a small apartment on 20th street in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In 1994 we moved to West Second Street in Waterloo Iowa and on February 14th 2011, we moved to our new building at 2110 Sager Ave.

Asalamualjkum Brothers and sisters this is our guest imam candidate , giving the friday hudba today.

He will have a lecture tonight after magrib. Come to meet him!

We plan to have potluck tomorrow night. 7 pm Please come bring a dish and your family.

We will have another lecture tomorrow night after Magrib. We might have a giveaway for the kids and maybe some for adults.

THE FRIDAY JUMA HUDBA WIlL START AT 1PM.

Please come on time , so you get the full reward.

For all the younger people, please try to come and park on the street to leave room for the elderly.And those that cannot come on time.

There's a great reward for thinking about your brothers.

Eid Mubarak to all of you and your family's.

I hope everybody is having a wonderful Eid.

I know you have seen a bunch of QR Codes in the masjid those are for our new donation system.

Now 100% of your donation goes to the project you choose. Masjid/ Imam Found/ Park expansion.

There is an optional Tip that you can do and that doesn't go to masjid. It gose to the company that is providing service. You don't have to tip.

I will be sharing a few QR Codes. You can download them into your album. Then, you can push and hold on them. It will show a link that you can go to too donate.
Please donate generously.

I hope everybody can join us this upcoming saturday 5/30/2026 for our community Eid Grill out. With fun activities for kids and adults. Saturday 5pm.

You can come earlier if you want to help out.And hang out. Will be setting stuff up from 1pm.
