Mission Statement
The Zion Youth Ministry will spark a revolution by:
• Engaging the youth into developing healthy Christ-centered relationships.
• Enlightening them on biblical truths in order to raise their spiritual gifts.
• Empowering a faith-walk in Christ that honors God

– Creating healthy, life-long, Christ-centered relationships. o Mentor/mentee opportunities.

• Enlighten - Offering opportunities for youth to understand the bible and apply teachings to real life situations. Cultivating spiritual disciplines and gifts as they get to know God more intimately through:
o Youth Fellowship
o Rap Sessions
o Retreats
o Mentor/Mentee Relationships
o Regular participation in worship services
o Spiritual gifts assessments

• Empowerment - Armed with biblical education, youth will understand the purpose of sharing the gospel with others through service and discipleship. o Youth Step/Praise Dancers
o Youth Council
o Youth Mass Choir
o Youth Media
o Junior Missionaries
o Junior Ushers
o Local Service Projects
o Mission Trips/Outreach
o Youth-led community programs/events
