Today we are asking you to please take a moment to help us save one of the most beautiful and significant buildings in our community, the Hall Memorial Chapel.

The chapel needs repair and we are working to hire engineers and seeking state and private grants to help us fund the work, but we need your help.

The Welton family memorial, published in a history of Riverside Cemetery in 1889 five years after the legendary Carrie Welton died climbing Longs Peak in Colorado.

The cemetery is beautiful with a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. Don't forget your winter boots when you visit, since not all of the roads are plowed.

Riverside Cemetery is open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 4pm during the winter months.

A pair of foxes at Riverside Cemetery. One of them had a freshly caught fish in its mouth. On the other side of the pond stood a great blue heron watching this unfold. The cemetery is truly an oasis in the city.
