The Baby Jumped!
Did you see it? Maybe , have you seen it in the past? Somehow someway the little child was found on top of a wall. The wall was one made of cement blocks, sturdy and solid. It looked like it had been built by someone adding to its height through time. Now the wall was of the height you could not just step over it and it was growing taller.
It was on this day on top of the wall was a child. A small baby whose only portion of adding to the wall would be his reliance on others. Each block was made of troubles Lack of money, loss of. Job or a relationship issue. Yes, the child has to rely on someone for food , safety, and a roof over his head. If asked about those things the child does not worry because he has faith in someone, his mom or dad or both. He just knows they will be there for him in his time of need.
Yet, today he, the baby, is on top of a wall. Unable to climb down the only way off is to jump. There at the base of the wall, the mound of the troubles, was the babies father. His father with his arms stretched out and saying jump. Everything will be OK. Come on JUMP!
Oh my, the Baby stretched out his arms and with a big smile of relief he jumped. I wish you would have seen it. It looked like the child had wings. Because he flew right into his Father’s arms. Can you imagine what that child was feeling. First, while he was on top of his wall of troubles, he was afraid. He was a scared. Then when he saw his Father standing there at the bottom. The very place he was dreaming to be. A feeling of possibility and excitement. Then as he spread out his arms and he took flight, there it was the feeling of freedom. He jumped of his wall of trouble in faith the his Father would catch him. That was exactly what happened. The Father caught him and held him tightly. The baby was safe at last
Is it your turn to Jump? Hey you there feeling like you are on a mountain of troubles. Your Heavenly Father is waiting . Look for him You will find Him with His arms stretched open wide calling out to you. Jump. Have faith in Him. He will catch you. Jump
