We are writing to you all, dear friends, to thank you for being a part of our church family! As such, we feel it is important to let you know that we have made the steps from being a branch church to a society.
The current membership has been praying about his step for quite a while and this seemed to be the right time. We continue to be committed and support each other, our community, and the cause of Christian Science. Just a few of the signs of progress we have been blessed to witness include increased non member attendance at services, the development of an Alaskan Association of Christian Science Nursing, and testimony meetings that are full of testimonies!
The early church workers persevered, moved forward with patience, working, and praying and praying and working, knowing that God blesses all!
From the Christian Science Hymnal, hymn 12:
​Go forward then, and as ye preach
​So let your works confirm your speech,
​And prove to all with following sign
​The Word of God is power divine.
​In love and healing ministry
​Show forth the Truth that makes men free.
​Our location remains the same. Please refer to the Christian Science Journal for our new email address and church service information. Of note: at this time, we are holding remote Wednesday services only on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
