God is moving among the next generation! Their obedience and faith is inspiring!
Lincoln and Logan Mitchell recently took steps of faith by being baptized.
"I am the type of person that worries about getting things wrong. I have prayed and asked Jesus into my heart every time there was an opportunity to. I was worried I might not do it right. One night, I went to a Christian concert with the youth group. One of the artists was singing a song called "Altar". The song was describing how God washes away our shame. I felt God's love in a way I never had before. I no longer worry about if I am doing it right, because I know that Jesus is the one that did it right. The next day, I told my parents I was ready to be baptized." -Lincoln Mitchell, Jubilee Washington
"Growing up in church, there was never a time I didn't know about Jesus. But one night, my mom was reading a devotional for kids before bed. That night, it compared God's grace to the size of space. It told how no matter what mistake, what sin, or what mess you've made God is ready to forgive you, you just have to ask. Tears began to roll down my face and my mom asked me what was wrong. I said I didn't know. My mom asked if I was ready to ask God to forgive my sins and I said yes. She prayed with me and I gave my life to God. Since then, I have felt God's presence in my life. I want to get baptized today because Jesus tells us to!" -Logan Mitchell, jubilee Washington
