We Believe that the doctrine (teachings) that the apostles taught are indeed the doctrines (teachings) of Jesus Christ. We Believe that every believer ought to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ even as they were demonstrated by Christ and his disciples. We Believe every believer should maintain an apostolic lifestyle as the apostles demonstrated and Jesus both demonstrated and commanded (Matthe
w 28:19 -20, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 2:38-42, Acts 16:4-5, Colossians 1:22-29). (Colossians 2:8-10) We believe that Jesus is God (John 1:1-3, John 8:58, John 10:30). We believe that in Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 1: 15-20, Colossians 2:8-10). We believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation and redemption (John 10:1-10, John 14:6,7,10-11, Acts 4:12). We believe in the necessity of Baptism for Salvation (Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21). We believe in One Baptism [In Jesus Name] (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Acts 8:13-16, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 19:3-5, Ephesians 4:5)- We believe that both water and spirit (John 3:5) bears witness to the oneness of baptism (1 John 5: 7-8). We believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost(Spirit) is available to the believer (John 7:38-39). We believe that the infilling(baptism) of the Holy Ghost is ESSENTIAL for the believer (John 3:5, Acts 19:2). We believe that the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance (Isaiah 28:11, Acts 2:1-5, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 11:15, Acts 19:2-8). Again, we believe that water Baptism in Jesus Name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost is one baptism. We believe that Holiness is RIGHT (Leviticus 20:26, Isaiah 35:8, 2 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Peter 1:16); and essential to make it to heaven (2 Corinthians 6:17, Hebrews 12:14). We believe in the gifts of the spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, as well as the gifts to the church (1 Corinthians 12: 27-31, *Ephesians 4:8,11-13*). We believe in the UNITY of the Church (*Psalm 133:1*, 1 Corinthians 12: 12-13, Ephesians 4:5, *Ephesians 4:11-13*). We believe that "denominations" are reminiscent of the divisions spoken of in 1 Corinthians 3:3-5, and 1 Corinthians 11: 18-19. We believe that the Church Building ( the tabernacle of congregation) is a sanctuary: sanctified, Holy Ground -(Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13).
