This Sunday we land the final week of THE MANTLE — and it may be the most important Sunday of the series. We have spent three weeks watching the fire of God move. From God to one man. From one man to another. From a handful of disciples to an entire generation. The fire spreads — that has been our declaration. But this week we have to ask the harder question.

What happens when the fire stops? This Sunday we are going to look at one of the most haunting passages in all of Scripture — a story about an extraordinary man, an undeniable anointing, and a fire so powerful it raised the dead from the grave. And yet nobody was there to carry it forward. You were not built just to receive the mantle. You were not built just to carry it faithfully through the seasons of your own life. You were built to make sure it does not stop with you.

4. Recognize the mantle on the people around you - The progression moved from one to many. You are not carrying this alone. Who around you is carrying their mantle faithfully? How are you recognizing, encouraging, and supporting them in it this week?

3. Ask for the hard thing - Elisha did not ask for comfort or an easy transition. He asked for the full weight of the calling. This week, ask God not for the manageable version of what he has for you — but for the full portion. Ask for the hard thing.

2. Name what God has placed on you - The mantle is specific and personal. This week ask God to clarify what he has placed on your life. As thoughts/impressions come to you; Write them down. Say them out loud. Ask God to clarify it. You cannot carry something you have never named.

1. Find your Horeb - Elijah positioned himself to hear from God. Identify one specific way this week to position yourself; in prayer, in worship, in solitude, to hear what God has for you. The fire starts with God to one. Put yourself in the place where God speaks.
