Obituary

Hilda Bernice Stockglausner, 96, of New Haven, Mo., formerly of Rosebud and Washington passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at New Haven Care Center in New Haven.

She was born June 19, 1930, to Clyde and Ethel (Wirn) Wyatt in St. Louis.

She was united in marriage March 25, 1949, to Ronald K. Stockglausner in St. Louis.

Bernice was a member of both St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bem and St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Washington. She enjoyed baking, quilting, singing, fishing, camping, gardening, crocheting and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ethel, husband, Ronald; daughter, Carol Czeschin; and brother, Charles Wyatt.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Stockglausner and husband Carl Clover of Washington, Ketih Stockglausner and wife Debi of Rosebud and Elaine Fleming and husband Lance of Cottleville; son-in-law, Chuck Czeschin and wife Donna of Rosebud; grandchildren, Jill Wootan and husband Brandt, Holly Stockglausner and husband Shane Joseph, Grace Sitton and husband Lance, Jacob Stockglausner and wife Christina, Brad Czeschin and wife Kiley, Wendy Mehrhoff and husband Jason, Matthew Binkholder, Alicia Mems and husband Charles and Eric Menderski; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 3 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bem with Pastor Jeff Remelius and Rev. Kurt Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Bem.

Memorials requested for St. John’s United Church of Christ at Bem Mission and Social Concerns or St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Mission Team at Washington.
