Capuchin Retreat Center The Capuchin Retreat Center is a center of Franciscan spirituality and retreat house situated on 95 wooded acres in Washington Township, Michigan.

The Capuchin friars welcome you. A beautiful retreat house to service the regional Catholic community, other religious organizations, public in need of spiritual guidance, Capuchin friars and friends, and those needing a retreat from the hectic day-to-day life to renew their sense of spirit and relationship with God! We are looking forward to starting our Bible Study this week! Join us every Wednesday to delve deeper into the biblical readings for the following Sunday in Ordinary Time. We will analyze the historical context that gave rise to the readings and discover their spiritual message for the faithful then and now. Please bring your Bible.

You can join the Bible Study in person or online for our afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., or our evening session from 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
Directed by: Sally McCuen, OFS

Sally holds a Master of Theology degree from the University of Notre Dame and has taught university courses on Scripture, as well as Bible studies in parishes. Sally is a Secular Franciscan and a member of the staff.

Join us for the ancient sacramental offering of the blessing of the sick with a relic of the True Cross, dating to the 6th Century Benedictine St. Maurus. The Blessing of the Sick has been celebrated at St. Bonaventure Monastery since the 1880s, and was a favorite sacramental of Blessed Solanus Casey.
