What an incredible day of blessings at Territorial Star Search!

Yesterday, the very best of the best gathered together as first-place winners from all 11 Salvation Army divisions across the Eastern Territory—from Maine to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands—to perform and use their God-given talents for His glory.

We are beyond proud of our Drama Troupe! Kinsley, Grace, Arizona and Zane. They gave an outstanding performance and represented our corps and division with excellence, passion, and heart. While they did not place this year, their commitment to glorifying God through their gifts was evident to everyone who watched. We couldn’t be more proud of them!

And then there was Grace!

With confidence, courage, and incredible boldness, Grace stepped onto that stage and gave it everything she had. We are thrilled to announce that Grace earned 3rd Place in the entire Eastern Territory in Drama Monologue—competing against representatives from all 11 divisions! What an absolutely phenomenal accomplishment!

Congratulations, Grace! We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and willingness to use your talents for the Lord.

More than the awards and recognition, what fills our hearts with joy is seeing God at work in the lives of our young people. Watching them grow in faith, confidence, leadership, and ministry is one of the greatest blessings we could ask for.

The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for next year!

🎉 WOW! What an incredible day of serving our community! 🎉

Today, through our Fresh Produce Distribution, we were blessed to serve 1107 households, helping provide fresh, nutritious food to an estimated 3,321 individuals throughout our community!

This ministry would not be possible without the amazing volunteers who generously gave their time, energy, and hearts to serve others. A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our 28 volunteers from Trinity United Methodist Church, EQT, Chrome Federal Credit Union, Senior Life, and The Salvation Army Washington Worship & Service Center.

From unloading pallets and packing boxes to greeting families and distributing produce, these incredible volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure our neighbors received the support they needed. Their dedication is a beautiful reminder that when a community comes together, lives are impacted and hope is shared.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a tremendous success. Together, we are truly Doing The Most Good! ❤️🍎🥕🥬

Today, The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services of Washington County was honored to stand alongside the Greater Washington County Food Bank and Washington County Emergency Management to serve families impacted by the severe storms that swept through the southeastern portion of our county over the weekend.

When disaster strikes, it reminds us that our communities are strongest when we come together. We are called to love our neighbors not only in words, but through action. Today, that love was demonstrated through the distribution of emergency food supplies, bringing hope, encouragement, and practical assistance to those facing unexpected hardship.

At The Salvation Army, our mission is rooted in serving others with the love of Jesus Christ. Whether through disaster response, feeding programs, or everyday community support, we remain committed to being a source of hope in difficult times. We are grateful for the partnership of the Washington County Emergency Management and Washington County Foodbank Food Helpers as we work together to care for our neighbors and help families begin the journey toward recovery.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this outreach possible. Together, we are truly “Doing the Most Good.”
