Welcome to Rainforest Falls VBS 2026!

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure deep in the heart of the rainforest! The Salvation Army Washington Worship & Service Center is excited to invite children and families to Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School 2026, where we'll journey through God's amazing creation, discover His love, and learn how to grow in faith together.

Each evening will be filled with exciting Bible lessons, energetic music, creative crafts, fun games, delicious snacks, and memorable activities designed to help children Ages 6-14 experience God's truth in a fresh and exciting way. As we explore the wonders of the rainforest, we'll discover that God's love flows endlessly, just like the waterfalls that bring life to the jungle.

Join us as we trek through Rainforest Falls and learn how to trust God, follow Jesus, and share His love with others. Whether you're returning for another year of VBS or joining us for the very first time, there's a place for you on this incredible adventure!

We had a blast at Women’s Ministries Paint and Pajamas! We have some wonderful artists in our group!we learned a bunch of new techniques tonight as well.

Once again, our dumpster has been filled with furniture and other items that do not belong to The Salvation Army. Because the dumpster lid is unable to close properly, The Salvation Army will incur additional charges for removal services.

We respectfully ask whoever is responsible to please stop using our dumpster for personal disposal. The cost of disposing of these items should not fall upon our organization. Unfortunately, we are unable to place locks on the dumpster because it is not owned by The Salvation Army.

These unnecessary expenses take away funds that could otherwise be used to assist families and individuals in need within our community. We kindly ask everyone to be considerate and dispose of personal items responsibly.

Hey guys. Don’t forget to get registered for Camp Allegheny for your children. Most camp sessions are ages 6 to 12, but there are two camp sessions that are age of 6 to 14. Remember, there is nowhere else that you were gonna get a Sleepaway camp for $25. No gimmick, no other charges at all whatsoever literally it’s $25 for the week. The only out-of-pocket cost for this incredible sleep-away camp experience is a $25 application fee per child, per camp session week. That’s it!

We just wanted to kindly ask for the community’s help with something that has become a growing concern for us here at The Salvation Army in Washington.

Over the past several months, we have noticed an increase in people leaving large amounts of trash, furniture, mattresses, box springs, and other household items in and around our dumpsters. I have even caught someone tossing garbage in our dumpster from the back of their black pickup truck. While we completely understand that sometimes people are trying to find a place to dispose of unwanted items, our dumpsters are privately paid for by The Salvation Army and are intended only for our ministry’s use.

When our dumpsters become overloaded or items are left outside of them, it results in additional cleanup and disposal costs for us. Unfortunately, those extra expenses take away from funding that would otherwise go directly toward programs and services that support individuals and families in need throughout our community.

We truly love serving the Washington community and want to continue being able to provide assistance to those who need it most. With that in mind, we respectfully ask that anyone using our dumpsters for personal dumping please stop doing so.

Our property is monitored by security cameras, and we hope to address this matter respectfully and peacefully without needing to involve law enforcement.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, kindness, and cooperation. We genuinely appreciate the support this community continues to show The Salvation Army and the people we serve each and every day.

OK... Who's ready to dance the Night away at The Salvation Army Adult Prom Fundraiser Event this Saturday at North Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company. Dance the Night away, and Much it out with Catering provided by our friends at Pretzels Plus. We're so excited that they are joining us and blessing your Bellies! Come on down, Saturday, May 23rd, from 7pm-10pm Ages 25+. Tickets are $30 at the Door.

Tickets at #30 at the Door Ages 25+ only! Come on out and relive(or experience for the first time) your H.S. 🎉📚 Our FIRST Family Reading Picnic of the 2026 season was an absolute BLAST at South Franklin Township Community Park! ☀️🌳

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, and amazing community connections as we welcomed anywhere from 80–100 children and parents for an unforgettable day together! Families enjoyed arts & crafts, explored exciting books, sat together reading, and soaked in the beautiful nature that God has blessed us with. ❤️📖

One of the highlights of the day was having our Disaster Services truck on site providing FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks for all the children and families! 🌭🥤

We are so thankful for opportunities like this where families can come together to build fellowship, encourage literacy, and most importantly, spend quality time together. There is nothing better than seeing parents and children laughing, learning, and making memories side by side!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and helped make today so special! 🙌
