Washington Alliance Church Washington Alliance Church Our focus as a church
Mission speaks to the “what” we’re to be focused on.

Jesus spelled it out pretty clearly when he said “you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The whole point of Jesus coming to earth was “to seek and save those who are lost.” As followers of Jesus we remain on earth for that purpose. We know we are maturing as his followers when his priority of reaching

the world with his message of forgiveness increasingly becomes ours. Meeting Times are as follows:
Sunday Morning Worship: 10 AM
Wednesday Prayer Group: 7 PM

Sunday’s “People and Their Passages” interview featured Emmanuel and Jessica sharing part of their story with Pastor Scott. What a blessing it has been to welcome this sweet family into the life of our church. Their faith, kindness, and love for their children have already made a lasting impact on our church family.

One of the things we love most about social media is that it allows us to connect with people long before they ever walk through our doors.

This sweet mom first found Washington Alliance Church online. After several conversations and plenty of encouragement, she decided to visit—and has become a treasured part of our church family.

She shared this post today about her children and their church experience, and it perfectly captures the heart of who we hope to be. ❤️

With her permission, we’re honored to share it with you.

💕 Today at church, my boys made me these sweet flower pots called "Mom's Love Grows Families." They planted seeds and filled the flowers with little messages about things they love and appreciate.

As moms, we spend so much time doing the things that often go unnoticed. The early mornings, the late nights, helping with homework, making meals, cleaning up messes, giving hugs, drying tears, and praying for our children every single day.

Sometimes we wonder if we're doing enough.

Then a moment like today happens.

Reading the sweet things my boys wrote reminded me that our children notice more than we think they do. They see our love. They see our patience. They see our kindness. They see the little things we do for them every day.

Motherhood isn't always easy, and none of us do it perfectly, but somehow through all the ups and downs, love continues to grow.

I am so thankful for my three boys and the blessing of being their mom. ❤️🌱

Mom's love really does grow families.

THIS IS WASHINGTON ALLIANCE

Depending on which Sunday you visit, you might find a sanctuary full of children—or a quieter morning with mostly adults.

You might see every pew occupied, or plenty of open seats waiting for new friends.

Some weeks you'll find young families, some weeks more seniors, and most weeks a little bit of everything in between.@

But one thing never changes: we're a church family seeking Jesus together.

These photos capture just a glimpse of who we are—not a perfect picture, but a real one.

Real people. Real worship. Real community.

Whether you're new to church, looking for a church home, or simply curious, we'd love to welcome you.

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM.Nursery and Children's Church available.

Sunday’s message on Samson was such a powerful reminder that even in our weakest moments, God hears the simplest prayers.

Pastor Scott shared three small words that carry incredible power:
“God, help me.”

When we don’t know what to pray…
When we feel weak, overwhelmed, or exhausted…
Those words are enough.

Just like Samson, we serve a God who meets us with strength, mercy, and grace right where we are. 💙

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us of the great cost of freedom — and the importance of faith, gratitude, and unity. As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we never forget those who gave everything for others.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

As we head into this Memorial Day weekend, the words of “If We’ve Ever Needed You” by Casting Crowns feel especially heavy on my heart.

In a world filled with uncertainty, division, loss, and hurting people searching for hope… we are reminded that our answer has never changed. We need Jesus now more than ever.

This weekend, while we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, may we also pause to pray for our families, our communities, our churches, and our nation.

“If we’ve ever needed You, Lord, it’s now…” 🇺🇸❤️

Take a moment today to listen, reflect, and pray.

Reminder!

This Sunday, Pastor Scott continues our series with the story of Samson — a story of strength, failure, and the redeeming grace of God.

Strong enough to defeat armies… yet weak enough to fall into temptation.

No matter how far we fall, God is never finished with us.
