Do you have any winter boots that don’t fit anymore? Branches would love to be able to give out boots this winter to all of our friends (in the hopes of a snowy season ahead!). We are looking for warm snow safe boots for sizes Youth 9- Adult 10.

We pray with all the people who are affected by the tornados that swept through the St Louis area. And we especially lift up the congregation of Centennial Christian Church as they mourn a member who was when the storm toppled the building's steeple.

In this sermon about Luke 7:1-17, Pastor Robin explores how knowing the end of Jesus's story affects how we read the Gospels. Through examining Jesus's interactions with a Roman centurion and a grieving widow, we see Jesus as a prophet who consistently put compassion into action. While we can't perform miracles like Jesus did, we can follow his example by actively showing love and mercy to those around us. The message reminds us that faith isn't just about beliefs—it's about doing what we can, with what we have, for the people in front of us.

This week we will be celebrating World Communion Sunday in a special way. We will be joining in a special "table worship" service in our Fellowship Hall. We will sing and pray together, celebrate at the Lord's Supper, and then have a delicious lunch and fellowship.

Unfortunately, due to the location change, we will not be able to livestream this service. We will attempt to record it and upload later, but Pastor Robin says "I'm not making any promises -- technology is fickle!"
