What We Believe...

Lutherans get their name from Martin Luther, a German priest who was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church in the early 1500s. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases:

Grace Alone: God loves the people of the world, even though we are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. Scripture Alone: The Bible is God's in

errant (without error) Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. Faith Alone: Jesus' suffering and death is the substitute for all people of all time. He purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for all. Those who hear this Good News and believe it will have the eternal life that it offers. Worship Services take place on:

Saturday at 6:30 p.m., featuring a contemporary worship experience led by our praise band. Casual and informal

Sunday at 8 a.m., featuring a traditional hymns and a liturgical format

Sunday at 10:30 a.m., featuring a blended service featuring both temporary and traditional music. Our nursery, for infants and preschoolers, is available during the 10:30 a.m. service, following the children’s message. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated in all services on the first, third, and fifth weekends of each month. Our Redeemer is part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

The SONshine Kids did a special service project today! They packed 40 Birthday Cake Kits which will be distributed through Macomb Charitable Foundation to local children with upcoming birthdays. These kits contain everything needed to bake & decorate a birthday cake. Our goal is to help give other kids the opportunity to celebrate their God-given gift of life!
