Pardon me a moment while I brag on three of our kids! At the end of May our children’s ministry had a “pet” adoption and our kids adopted a stuff animal and accepted our Scripture Scoops Challenge. The challenge was to “care” for their pets by reading their bibles to their pet and praying with it every day. I gave them scripture reading plans for June and July. One verse each day. These three kids did ALL 60 days!!🎉 I’m SO proud of them. An extra challenge was to write the verse, each day, on a copy of an ice cream scoop, decorate it and stack them to see high tall your ice cream cone could get. As you can see in her picture below, one of our young ladies had to make several cones because she did them ALL!! It made my day each time I received a picture of kids reading to their pet, taking their pet on a plane on vacation, so they didn’t miss a day, and seeing those pages filled with their stickers because they completed the challenge! Makes my heart happy! I just had to brag on them and share with you! Hope they inspire you as much as they do me! Well done kids!!💕PS if your child complete theirs, send it to me!
