Capitol Hill Ward - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints The Capitol Hill chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is located at 522 7th Street SE, Washington, D.C. ASL services begin at 11:30am.

Worship services are Sundays 9am, with scripture study classes at 10am. Please come and see! Mormons on the Hill are members of the Capitol Hill Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The meetinghouse is located at 522 7th Street SE, Washington, D.C. 20003, just one block south of the Eastern Market metro station. Services are Sundays from 9am - 12pm.

“I am bold to declare before Heaven that I am just as ready to die in defending the rights of a Presbyterian, a Baptist or a good man of any other denomination; for the same principle which would trample upon the rights of the Latter-day Saints would trample upon the rights of the Roman Catholics or of any other denomination who may be unpopular and too weak to defend themselves,” he said. “It is a love of liberty which inspires my soul — civil and religious liberty to the whole of the human race."

The Church has created a webpage featuring a discussion guide, video and other resources for a fifth-Sunday meeting on May 31 focusing on moral agency and how the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence support religious liberty.
