20s and 30s Young Adult Community at Holy Trinity Catholic Church near Georgetown University.

Inspired by our faith in God through the love of Jesus Christ, the Holy Trinity Young Adult Community, as an apostolate of the parish community, seeks to create a welcoming and dynamic Catholic faith community that:

•Deepens its participants’ relationship with God through active participation in the Sacramental life of the Church;

•Strengthens people though prayer in the tradition of St. Ignatiu

s Loyola;

•Promotes social justice through direct service, education and advocacy; and

•Develops and sustains authentic relationships among diverse persons.

The Rumi Forum fosters interfaith dialogue, intercultural understanding, and intergroup engagement. An Iftar is the daily fast-break meal during the Muslin holy month of Ramadan.

Mass and YAC Brunch
February 8 at 11:30 AM
Main Church; Brasserie Liberté (3251 Prospect St NW, Washington, DC 20007)

On February 8, join YAC at Holy Trinity’s 11:30 am mass, followed by brunch at Brasserie Liberté at 1:00 pm! We will meet outside the entrance to the main church (36th Street NW) after mass, and walk over to brunch at 12:45 pm. While the photo reminds us of warmer times, seating will be inside! YAC Faith Sharing will return Thursday, February 5th, using the upcoming Sunday’s readings as a point of reflection and conversation. Come out weekly on Thursday evenings at 7 PM to the St. Ignatius Chapel. And, on February 5th, socialize with fellow YACs afterwards at the Tombs! All are invited to join the YACs for an evening of prayer in the style of Taizé. Taizé prayer involves singing short repetitive refrains and a scripture reading that foster reflective prayer. In keeping with the liturgical focus of Advent, we will meditate on hope in Christ. Because the prayer will be this Friday, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we will sing in English and Spanish.
