Ep. 28

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.” — Psalm 29:2

This verse reminds us that God is worthy of all honor, praise, and worship. When we pause to recognize His goodness and holiness, our hearts are drawn closer to Him in gratitude and reverence.

💭 Reflection: How can you give God glory in your daily life this week?

Ep. 27

“I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord…” — Psalm 121

Psalm 121 reminds us that no matter what we face, our help comes from God. In moments of uncertainty, weariness, or struggle, we can find peace knowing that the One who watches over us never sleeps nor leaves our side.

💭 Reflection: Where have you seen God’s help and protection in your life recently?

✨ Teaching Tuesday ✨

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…” — Matthew 25:35–36

This scripture reminds us that the way we treat others matters deeply to God. When we show kindness, compassion, and love to those in need, we are reflecting the heart of Jesus Himself.

Jesus is love, and we are called to live that love out daily through how we serve, care for, and uplift others. 💛

💭 Reflection: How can you show the love of Christ to someone this week?

✨ Teaching Tuesday ✨

Throughout the Bible, women and mothers played powerful roles in God’s story. Leading with faith, courage, wisdom, and love. From Mary’s obedience, to Esther’s bravery, to Ruth’s loyalty, we are reminded that God works through women to nurture, guide, and strengthen generations.

As we prepare for Mother’s Day, may we honor the women who continue to reflect God’s love and faithfulness in our lives today. 💛

💭 Reflection: What woman in your life has helped shape your faith journey?

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150

Today we highlight our Community Chamber Orchestra, whose gifts and dedication help lead us in powerful worship through music. Their sound is more than music. It’s praise, it’s ministry, and it lifts our hearts closer to God.

We are grateful for the ways they continue to bless Mt. Zion and our community. 🎶💛

Ep. 24 : Timia Stagg Simmons

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.” — Jeremiah 17:7

This verse reminds us that true strength and stability come from placing our trust in God. When our confidence is rooted in Him, we can stand firm no matter what comes our way.

💭 Reflection: Where is God calling you to trust Him more deeply today?
