We are United Methodists committed to the embodiment of God's love and justice within and through the people and mission of The United Methodist Church. The core of our faith is found in Jesus’ response to the question “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” - to “love God with all our heart, soul (being) and mind” and to “love neighbor as self” (Matthew 22:36-40). These hold anci

ent “law and prophets” together with our contemporary Book of Discipline, Social Principles, and Book of Resolutions. Out mission is to assure The United Methodist Church is fully open to the presence, love and grace of God offered to all people.

In a world that sells us self-sufficiency and curated connection, the church is called to something deeper. Something harder. Something better.

We are so grateful for Rev. T.C. Morrow and 24 years of faithful ministry at Foundry. We carry her words with us as she begins her next chapter.

A message from Bishop Escobedo-Frank:
Please join me in praying for our siblings at the Islamic Center of San Diego where there was an active shooter incident earlier today. Pray for those who lost their lives, those injured, and all who need holy healing from this traumatic event. Pray for a world where everyone is safe to gather for worship and education.

Welcome Rev. Andi, to the LYNC family!

Big news from RMN — and we are so excited to share it with you.

We are thrilled to announce that the Rev. Andromeda (Andi) Woodworth (she/they) has been named the next Executive Director of Reconciling Ministries Network.

Andi comes to this role as a United Methodist elder, a gifted preacher and writer, and the founding pastor of Neighborhood Church in Atlanta — a congregation celebrated across the region for its radically inclusive, liberation-focused ministry. She has spent nearly two decades building communities of belonging, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights in Georgia and beyond, and leading with both courage and deep pastoral care.

For Andi, RMN isn't just an organization — it's been part of her own journey. And now she gets to help lead it into its next chapter. We can't wait.

Andi will begin her role as Executive Director effective June 1, 2026. For now, join us in welcoming Andi.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility.

In a world that is working hard to erase you — you are still here. Still beloved. Still made in the image of God.

No legislation changes that. No headline changes that. No amount of fear changes that.

You are seen. You are sacred. You belong.

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility from Reconciling Ministries Network. 🏳️‍⚧️

Help LYNC member Reconciling Ministry Network select a new executive leader.

Help us identify RMN’s next Executive Director.

Reconciling Ministries Network has launched a national search for our next leader. As Jan Lawrence prepares to retire April 30, we are seeking a mission-driven, faith-rooted Executive Director to guide RMN’s next chapter of work for intersectional justice and the full participation of LGBTQ+ people in the life and leadership of the Church.

We invite you to learn more and share this opportunity widely — especially with leaders who may not already be connected to RMN.

GCSRW denounces racist posts and memes that are being circulated which seek to demean and dehumanize others.

Let us be clear: This behavior isn't funny. It is threatening and dangerous. It sits in opposition to our Baptismal Vows.

Instead, let us celebrate one another's beauty and uniqueness as representations of the wideness of God's love and goodness.
