The mission and vision of PGS is to teach our young ladies how to Preserve, Understand, and Respect their bodies to
Emerge as Proud, Unashamed, and Respected Examples of purity; emphasizing not only purity of the body, but also purity of the mind and the heart. We do so by establishing a solid biblical base, educational experiences, peer support teams, and coaching and mentoring activities.

P.U.R.E. Girl Society (PGS) resumes this Saturday at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church. This week we are preparing to review the lessons with our girls that we taught them this year including: abstinence, STIs, drugs and alcohol, healthy relationships, self-esteem, peer pressure, careers and academics, and community service!

We had a great time serving the local community by partnering with We Are Family, a DC-based outreach and advocacy network started by seniors and their friends. We Are Family, along with volunteers like P.U.R.E. Girl Society, go out into the North Capitol, Columbia Heights, Petworth, Shaw, and Adams-Morgan areas to visit the elderly in their own homes.
