Deliverance Temple AME Zion Church - The Destiny Center Deliverance Temple is the home of the Destiny Center, a Resource and Outreach Center. Assisted 6 individuals to start a business.

We are committed to ensuring that the Community, especially in Congress Height are presented with the necessary resources in order to go to higher heights. In the 3 years of the Destiny Center, which is the Community Development and Outreach wing, we have - Assisted over 27 families with rental assistance - Assisted over 50 families with Burial Assistance. - Provided Summer Camp experiences for ov

er 60 children FREE of cost - Provide grocery assistance to over 750 families. - Provided food to over 500 unique individuals at least 6 times a year. - Given out 25 Laptops and 15 Hotspots - Provided Backpacks and School Supplies to over 200 Unique Children annually. -Provided annually at least 50 Thanksgiving Baskets. -Adopted Annually at least 100 Families for Christmas - Provided Clothes and Shoes - Provided Diapers, Infant Gear and More! - Provided Parenting Services to more than 30 Parents -Provided Tutorial and Academic Enrichment to more than 50 young people annually. Today as we closed the 195th Annual Session of the Philadelphia-Baltimore Conference, we ended one chapter. We managed to do a lot of work over the last 14 years! We thank God for all that we were able to do as Pastor of Deliverance Temple AME Zion Church - The Destiny Center! But today, the season of Deliverance Temple AME Zion Church ends and my children and I prepare to begin a new chapter that will bring greater impact to the entire District of Columbia as well as other churches and Pastors! When ministry and the community meets! Palm Sunday at the Park was a blessing!! 4 souls saved in the park and multiple prayers and petitions made! We ministered; we sang; we prayed and we rejoiced then we walked and ministered to every person we saw in a 2 block radius of the park —- young, old, and in between!! God is awesome!!
