We promote civic leadership and engagement and work with all government and non-goverment organizations to build resilience and capacity in our communities. We work with Interfaith organizations to foster closer ties and become a united voice for peace. We are all inclusive, welcoming & Multifaith.

15 Senate offices. 27 congressional meetings. More than 40 multifaith advocates. One important day on Capitol Hill.

AMMWEC’s July 14 Hill Day brought our National Coalition Against Antisemitism & Hate face-to-face with lawmakers and congressional staff from both sides of the aisle.

From Senator Chuck Schumer’s office to Senators Ted Cruz, Jacky Rosen, James Lankford, Adam Schiff, Elissa Slotkin, Mark Kelly and others, our delegation advocated for the DETERRENT Act and greater transparency around foreign funding and influence in American institutions.

Every office received our legislative materials and heard directly from our coalition.

Advocacy means showing up, speaking clearly, and making sure policymakers hear directly from the communities they represent.

That is exactly what AMMWEC did on July 14, 2026.

Our 40+ member multifaith delegation held 27 meetings with congressional offices and personally delivered our legislative asks, including our support for the DETERRENT Act.

We met with 15 Senate offices representing leaders across the political spectrum, including Senators Chuck Schumer, Ted Cruz, Patty Murray, Jacky Rosen, James Lankford, Amy Klobuchar, Adam Schiff, Elissa Slotkin, Mark Kelly, Chris Van Hollen, Richard Blumenthal, Gary Peters, Elizabeth Warren, Jim Justice, and Jon Ossoff.

We are proud to bring Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and multifaith voices together in defense of transparency, pluralism, and America’s democratic institutions.

Muslims, Jews, Christians, and Americans of different backgrounds walked the halls of Congress together on July 14 with one shared purpose: protecting our democratic institutions and strengthening transparency.

AMMWEC led a delegation of more than 40 coalition partners and community leaders to 27 meetings on Capitol Hill. At every meeting, we presented congressional offices with policy briefs explaining why our Coalition supports the DETERRENT Act, why it matters for America, and what we are asking Congress to do.

On July 14, 2026, AMMWEC brought a multifaith delegation of more than 40 leaders, advocates, and coalition partners to Capitol Hill for a powerful day of advocacy.

We held 27 congressional meetings, including 15 Senate offices, to advocate for the DETERRENT Act and our broader legislative priorities. Our delegation personally delivered policy briefs explaining why AMMWEC and our National Coalition Against Antisemitism & Hate support greater transparency around foreign funding and influence in American institutions.

We honor the innocent lives lost and stand firmly against terrorism, antisemitism, hate, and extremism in every form. We must remain vigilant when dangerous ideologies are normalized and when hate threatens any community.
